(153) If part of this agreement is cancelled, the parties agree to engage in negotiations without delay, which must be concluded within sixty (60) days after written notification of the request for negotiation, with a view to obtaining a satisfactory replacement of the invalid part of this agreement. If the parties have not reached an agreement within this period of sixty (60) days, each party has the right to initiate arbitration proceedings in accordance with Article XII (arbitration tribunal) in order to resolve the surrogate language. (278) Wage rates, ancillary benefits and other funds are negotiated and paid in accordance with local collective agreements. (328) An employer may hire up to one (1) apprentice and one (1) intern for each fellow employee. At no time can an employer employ more trainees than apprentice residences, except temporarily, as agreed in writing between the employer and the entrepreneur, who can, by mutual agreement, adapt the relationship between apprentices and trainees to remain a viable force in the sector. (154) If the federal government introduces wage controls in any form and part of that collective agreement is deferred or reduced, the parties meet immediately and, if the federal government action that caused the deferral or reduction makes it legally admissible, the parties attempt to redistribute the monetary equivalent of the deferred or reduced salary to benefits legally corresponding to the federal government`s action. The members of the supervisory committee are appointed by the Joint UA/MSCA Labor Committee, with contributions from the local MCA-Exec and the international representative. The committee consists of an equal number of local contractors for the management of the company and local business leaders for the work. All local boards within the jurisdiction, local training coordinators, staff officers and the AU international representative, who are associated with the MSCA, should only be invited to each meeting in an advisory capacity. The committee elects its own chairman and secretary. The Chair is responsible for setting up meetings and notifying all committee members.
