Before becoming a vicar, I spent 20 years in finance. I love sport (I support a rather inconsistent football team and an underachieving rugby team), predictable comedy, the weekend newspaper and eating (at home, at restaurants, at friends, in fact anywhere!).
I’m Stanley and it’s my job to keep the vicar in check! I take him for a walk each day which helps him pray and meet other people in the parish. I tend to take the vicar to South Park each morning around 7.00. We’d love to see you! I even appear on his business card!
I’m the newest addition to the vicarage and am the great nephew of Stanley. I’d love to meet you over the park with my great uncle Stanley!
Katherine is our Curate. She grew up in Fulham and went to Lady Margaret School before studying Theology at Durham and Oxford. Katherine is now in her second year of training and is involved in various areas of church life.
Sue Pierson has been on the staff since 1979, first as full-time Deaconess, then part-time after she produced 2 children, and now Honorary (= unpaid!). Sue is married to Lance who is an actor, performing on his own and with a trio called ‘In Voice and Verse’.
Josh is the most recent addition to the team and works with the youth at St Matthew’s. After studying Law in Sheffield and International Business and Politics in London, he made the jump to Youth and Children’s ministry and hasn’t looked back!
