St Matthews is an evangelical parish church (CofE) which seeks to reach out to the diverse and changing community of South Fulham. Our aim is to be a church of Jesus Christ where all people are welcome. We seek to bring Jesus to the people and people to Jesus. Our style of worship is informal and loosely Anglican with an emphasis on teaching the Bible.
10 am Sundays Main Service
The morning congregation is broadly made up of young families with children, the elderly and single people, and incorporates a wide representation of the local and gathered communities. The atmosphere is informal with a strong tradition of sung worship.
There is a creche, guided activities for kids and a youth group attached to and alongside the main service.
6.30 pm Sundays'godspace'
The evening meetings are more informal with an emphasis on creating community, prayer and going deeper with God. Our worship style is modern, guitar led and talks focus on lifes challenges with opportunities for discussion over decent coffee and if you're lucky muffins!
8.15pm Midweek Holy Communion
Midweek communion takes place on the second Wednesday the month.
